Capital Building Projects – The Public Spending Code

The Public Spending Code is the set of rules, procedures, and guidance to ensure Value for Money in public expenditure across the Irish Public Service. It imposes obligations at all stages of the project lifecycle on organisations that spend public money.

ID 5861214Cork Education and Training Board (Cork ETB) is seeking tenders for the provision of school meals for three Post Primary Schools – Lot 1: Terence MacSwiney Community College, Hollyhill, Knocknaheeny, Cork. T23 DY01, Lot 2: Carrignafoy Community College, Cobh, Co. Cork. P24 WR29, Lot 3: Coláiste Daibhéid, Sawmill Street, Cork, T12 VP03, under its remit. The specification for each lot is outlined in the attached CFT. Please note that a Tender Response Document must be completed for each separate lot. The provision of school meals is to commence for school year 2025/2026. Funding is provided for School Meals (Local projects) Scheme through the Department of Social Protection. Funding is allocated on a school year basis and must be applied for each year. There is no automatic entitlement to funding and all applications are considered on the available budget for the Scheme. Whilst this competition is being run for a specific period it is entirely dependent on the available funding. Cork ETB reserve the right to cancel the contract in the event that funding is no longer available. Closing Date: Monday 14th July 2025 @ 13.00hrs11/06/2025
